The sandy beaches of Metaponto are less than 10 minutes away by car, with wide shoreline and pinewoods. Nearby you will find services, supermarkets and pharmacies, as well as the marina Porto degli Argonauti.

We are on a working farm surrounded by olive trees and fields: quiet, garden and open spaces for true relaxation. Ideal for families, couples and anyone who wants to combine sea time and rest.

Living room with fireplace, kitchenette, bedroom with bathroom. A sofa bed can be used in the living room. The porch overlooks the large garden lawn, with covered parking just a few metres away.

Wi-Fi: excellent in the garden, weaker indoors.

Casa delle Rose (sleeps 5–6)

Large living room with fireplace, kitchen, two bedrooms each with its own bathroom. A sofa bed can be used in the living room. Porch and garden are separate from farm activities, ideal for relaxing and for children.

Hotel-quality sterilised linen, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and outdoor drying rack.
Wi-Fi: excellent in the garden, weaker indoors.
Comfort: mattresses renewed in 2026; ceiling fans; full air conditioning.

Open all year round.
All-inclusive prices: rental, utilities, Wi-Fi and final cleaning are included. The tourist tax is not included (EUR 1.5/2.0 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights), and will be calculated separately.

Location and surroundings

Le Matine di San Teodoro are located in Marconia di Pisticci, in the Metaponto plain, on the Ionian coast of Basilicata. We are on a working farm among olive trees and fields, yet only a few minutes from the beaches of Metaponto and the Tavole Palatine. The location is ideal for combining sea time, relaxation and day trips, with Matera and historic towns within easy reach.

We rent directly, without intermediaries. This allows us to maintain a personal relationship with our guests and offer clear and transparent conditions.
Pets: unfortunately we cannot accept them. On our farm there are “resident” dogs who may not welcome visiting pets.
